I'm too lazy to colour this, so I just filtered it with painter. I've been so distracted lately, keep startin' sketches before I finish any. I'm naughty! [ۦдۦ]

Voices - (IF)

I wasn't gonna do a drawing for Illustration Friday, but the creative voices in my head made me do this. [°¸°]

About the drawing: Mala (my lost soul imp) has asked Meep (one of my snow creations) to make her into a snowman as this is her first experience with snow. Unfortunately for Cuddles, Mala used his hat for decoration, and he wants it back, now!

The inspiration for this drawing . . . the lovely (not) snow dumping that's occurred all day. I couldn't get my car beyond the driveway, therefore no work today. [°ֻ°]

Goth?

Just messin' around with my pencil. I did this yesterday when I was suppose to be doin' the soldier below. It's goth boy & girl--was gonna ink 'em into lost souls but decided against it--would take too long, felt like somethin' quick, ya know.

I can relate to this as I had somethin' similar happen. Sittin' on my sun deck basking in the sun and reading a book, mindin' my business when . . . along came a rude interruption outta nowhere right on my left shoulder. Like, eeeuuuuw!

Portrait

I haven't drawn much since last weekend been tired and a li'l lazy, too. Here's an older drawing (June of 2008). My portrait attempt of an internet friend I've known for quite awhile now (goin' on three years soon). Here is the making of Ms. Bowerydweller from DeviantArt. The reference I used was quite small and blurred--I did the best I could with what I had.

I plan to do more portraits of random people when I get my motivation back.

Wise - (IF)

Here's my Illustration Friday submission. It's rather rushed (sloppily done) as today is the last day for this week's theme which is wise.
Anyway . . . what came to mind when I thought of the word wise, was the wise-man pose which is a (polarity) yoga position.

Place thumbs in ear canal, 1st fingers over eyes gently, 2nd fingers over bridge of nose, 3rd fingers over mouth and pinkies over chin.

The benefits are that it closes all the body’s senses allowing energies to go inward, balance and harmonizing. Eases anxiety and emotional tension.

My first lost soul drawing of Boohoobara, Boo, and heart flowers.

For anyone wonderin', I deleted my other blog, "A Spirit's Night" 'cause I really messed up the html stuff, and of course, I forgot to save the template. So, outta sheer anger I clicked the dreaded delete button and all was gone. No matter, I'm startin' over--and for the sake of my sanity I shall keep things simple (plain Jane) this time.
